| Colors to Make Your Quilt "Pop" From a nursing career in California to education director for a major sewing machine company in Cleveland, to long arm quilting, Cathy Wilson has had both diversity and adventure in her life and careers. Quilting over 40 years since making her first quilt with the help of her grandmother, Cathy is enjoying her third lifetime career turning quilts into masterpieces with her long arm quilting machine. Traveling and presenting worldwide, Cathy has been fortunate in her travels to see quilts from Sweden to Japan and many places in between. She loves to share her passion for quilting with others sharing the same passion. -------------------------- Do you spend days, hours, and weeks on a quilt, only to find once you are finished the pattern disappears into the quilt? Learn how to use just a splash of the right color to make your quilt come alive, or "pop." Cathy will take you through some slides to illustrate the point, then we will discuss fabrics, and how to select the right fabrics for the pattern, or the right pattern for the fabric. Sunday, Oct. 11 from 2-4 p.m. Instructor: Cathy Wilson Fee: $20.00 Thread Catcher Make a pincushion with an attached scrap bag.
